SG300 dropping native vlans

Good morning,

I have all the sudden as of last week about 15 SG300s that all the sudden have dropped their management vlan on certain ports, and trunks are all messed up. Nothing has changed infrastructure wise that should have caused any changes, and certainly not anything that would disturb these as they do not do anything with vtp. In particular, for our access points that are placed in certain 1-2 person outbuildings. I have them on the newest code 1.4.15.x and bootloader 1.3.x. I will post logs once I have one in hand to get configs from. Thanks

Heres a screenshot of the system summary, and a text file of what it does after a while. Interfaces 1 and 7 should have a native vlan of 5, but somehow gets added to the generic trunk instead of being tagged as native.

The device has been running in place for about 4 years without a hitch, and then last Thursday all the 300s started acting up. Not running macros on it, dont know how all the sudden it got enabled.

here is the suggestion - we can expect this will fix, try remove macro and test.

I just did the no macro auto on the one closest to me, literally less than a foot away and it seems to have calmed down.

I ended up loosing control over it if I disable it on every port. I have found that editing the port association or smart macro type may have solved my issue, but that is on only one switch. Is there a way to rapidly do it to all of them or do I have to console/web to them all and manually do this?

Not sure if you have any Automation tools available  - like cattols ( available for trail)

download and make script ready what ports required to chhange and hit the button on cattools (make sure you try 1 device and understand the process) -

If you are not sure about the tools, other Option only be Manual intervention ?

Hope this make sense ?

The macros are changing the config as it sees fit and deletes/overrides my manual commands. I have edited all the default macros to make it somewhat controlled and stable. I have not had it in production very long in terms of testing my cubes ap has not dropped for the last 12 hours at least.

Glad and good news it working as expected, but keep observer, when you happy resolve the case.
