Justin Girard

Hi all

i have a sg300 switch and i have configured a guest vlan.

VLAN 1 = production

VLAN 40 = Guest Wifi ( on port 10 )

i created my ip interface

192.168.1.254 ( vlan 1 )  192.168.40.254 ( vlan 40 ) and created my gateway 192.168.1.1

i configured a route in my router ( e3000 with dd-wrt build 21061 )

192.168.40.0  255.255.255.0 192.168.1.254

and i have a ACL ipv4 on port 10 to block the access to production for the guest.

the problem is, i dont have internet access on my guest network and i dont know why and how i can resolve the issue ( i do a lot of research on internet but no luck )

i have an access point connected in the port 10 ( a picostation m2 from ubiquiti )

Anyone can help me with this issue ??

thanks

Justin

Hi Tom

i do a review of all step in you link, everything is configured as the step.

but cant figure out why i dont have internet access on my vlan 40.

if you check my setup in my first post, did you see something wrong that can prevent internet to work properly for my vlan 40 ??

im working on it for a week now and can'T figure out what im doing wrong :(

this is the route i have in the switch

0.0.0.0  remote  192.168.1.1  static

192.168.1.0  local  0.0.0.0  directly connected

192.168.40.0  local  0.0.0.0  directly connected

and the route from my router

192.168.40.0  255.255.255.0  192.168.1.254
