SG300 Private VLAN

Hi All,

I'm trying to configure private VLANS for the first time on an SG300-28PP.

gi3 is the connection to my router which serves as the gateway for this VLAN. 

I've created Private vlan 231 that maps to private vlan 23.  The config for VLAN 23 is below 

interface vlan 23

name IOT

private-vlan association add 230-231

However when I go to make gi3 a promiscuous port (as seen below)

I get the following error after clicking apply

here is the port config:

interface gigabitethernet3

switchport mode access

switchport access vlan 23

What am I missing something here?

Did you create virtual interfaces for VLAN's 230 and 231 in 'IP Configuration --> IP Management and Interfaces --> IPv4 Interface'? If so they have to be removed.

No, the only entry in there is for VLAN1
