SG300 SWITCH and AXIS PoE Injector

Dear Support

We have a Cisco SG300-10PP, 10-Port PoE+ Switch. We have connected 3 Axis Cameras. Out of this 2 Cameras are connected directly to switch and are working fine.

But the 3rd Camera (AXIS Q6042-E) requires high PoE+ and hence we are using an AXIS PoE Injector (AXIS T8125) to connect to the camera.

We are not able to access this Camera from the switch or from the network though the switch port is showing up. We are not able ping to the PTZ Camera IP address.

When i remove the cable from switch port and connect the cable directly to the Laptop instaed of switch , i can ping and access the camera.

Is there any additional configuration required on the Cisco Switch or Switch port  while connecting to a midspan(PoE Injector) like this ?

Kindly refer to the attached Screenshots from Switch :- 0.switch.jpg  ,  1.switch.jpg  ,  2.switch.jpg

Hello,

For the start it would be good to check mac address table for this interface and verify also send and received interface counters. If those tests are not indicating any problem you can try to set the port as access.

Please feel free to share with us the results.
