SG500-52 and/or SG500-52P in Regards to MIBs update

What is the MIBs_Sx500_v1.4.0.88 download for?  I'm currently bringing all of my switches to 1.4.0.88 Firmware version.  Is this something I need to update to for my SG500-52 or SG500-52P switches or is it for something else.  I believe they call it MIB Switch Management from the download page.

Hi,

It may be a bit late for you but for anyone else: MIB files are related to SNMP management and unless you are using SNMP server you do not have to download it when upgrading firmware and boot code.
