Hello,
I am using a SG500x in native stacking mode, utilizing the S1/S2-5G ports for stack. I use XG1/XG2 ports as 10Gb uplinks but i'm not able to use XG3/XG4 ports.
How can I reconfigure XG3/XG4 as network ports to have 4 SFP port per switch available without losing stacking mode ?
There is what i found in differents manuals (+ link for sources)
Page 74 :
SG500X/ESW2-550X Devices — S1-S2-10G are stack ports by default. You can manually reconfigure S1-S2-10G and S1-S2-5G as network ports or stack ports.
Page 14 :
It seems I am stuck with this stacking option :
Stacking Option Two: • Ports XG3/S1 and XG4/S2 are not available • Port S1, S2 and 5G are configured as stack ports – Speed — 1G, 5G, 1G/5G-auto • Ports XG1 and XG2 are available as standard network ports – Speed — 1G or 10G
When I go CLI there is no status for XG3/XG4, but only link state "not present"

There is result of show stack for more details about my setup.
