Hi All,
I'm considering upgrading my lab switch to an SG550XG-8F8T switch. I need to use all 8 of the 10GB SFP+ ports for low latency iSCSI traffic. I will also need to use at least 6 of the 8 copper ports for VMware virtual machine traffic.
My question is can I use the SFP+ ports as network ports, the specs page for the switch says it has 8 network ports (copper) and 8 uplink ports. Further, the quick start manual mentions compatible SFP+ modules "for connecting to other switches". I will trunk VLANS into an SG350-28 using one of the copper connections, but most of the ports need to be connected to servers.
Thank you
