Hello there,
I'm wondering if that make sense to stack 2xSGE2000 and having a double connection on my server with bonding 802.3ad :
SW1 --------------- BOND0/ETH0

|Stack on g24
|
SW2 --------------- BOND0/ETH1
Thank you in advance for your opinion/answer.

Hi Igor
It makes absolute sense to take advantage of the stacking capability of the switch. If the server drivers that support LAG with LACP work in conjunction with my switches, you would enjoy switch redundancy, not just link redundancy.
Yep I've been pushing the benefits of LAG with LACP from servers to a stacked switch solution, as a better solution when compared to just LAG with LACP from a server to a single switch.
I persoanlly have been lucky enough to get my hands on the newer SG500 series stacked switches to test the application with my NAS storage array. my vote if go for it if your server drivers support LAG with LACP.
regards Dave

Hi David,
Thank you for your quick reply.
If I understand, it's necessary to setup LAG on SGE2000?
Regards,
Igor
