Hi Guys

I have a SRP527 router with a normal 2.2 dbi antenna, I want to replace this with a more powerfull antenna but it seems its fixed to the box.

Is it possible to replace this?

I am using the router as a 3G router only and no ADSL and i would like to boost the 3G signal strength, if there is a way of doing this with out the antenna please advise aswell.

I am assuming there shouldn't be any drawbacks from this action, is that right or there are some pit falls to consider?

I want to replace it with a 11dbi external antenna, this is not a cisco antenna.

Thank you in advance for your help

Hello Mr. Dlamini,

The model SRP527 does not count with the option of removable antennas, so I would not try to remove it or change it for another antenna from another brand, At this moment there is not a hardware replace part or hardware addition that would help you with the increment of the performance.
