I'm working on cisco SG300 switch, after collecting traffic data (received octets) from it using snmpget I got this graph:
1.The drop of data from the maximum value may be due to drop in user activities, is there any other reason for this rapid change of value?
2.In order to detect any problem in switch/network, can we figure it from traffic data (total bytes,unicast,multicast,broadcast...) in/out collected from switch only without any information about switch activities(users,...) or we need something else?
3.Does data value collected from the switch (or displayed on switch interface) states instant data transferred or accumulated data?
