Video intercom - Calls ok - Video not working. Vendor says Multicast required.

We have a Video intercom that is connected to a SG-300 10p switch.

Connected on GI8

there is a DSL connection on GI10.

A 2960 switch on the other side of the DSL.

Then another SG300-10p.

 

The vendor of the video intercom I s AIPHONE.

the Q&A fact sheet says if call ok but video not then the issue is multicasting needs to be enabled.

So this is what I did on both of the SG300

under multicast -> properties -> bridge multicast filtering status ( checked enabled )

VLAN id ( VLAN the devices are in )

left all else as default.

 

When I look at the interface counters I see multicast packets on the interface that the video intercom is on .

I see this on both switches. ( SG300's ) on the ports where the AIPhone's are connected and also on the interface that connects the SG300's to the 2960.

 

On the 2960 I see multicast packets on the interface to the SG300's

on the 2960 I also see the multicast packets on the interface to the DSL.

 

Yet not working ?

any ideas ???
