Where to find a working Comms/ Serial 'Cisco Compatible' cable and adapter for Windows 10 1903
I have tried three different cables , for two different Cisco Switches ( SG220 , SG300) Two with USB to RJ45 serial and one USB to 232 Connector . I could not get any of these cables working . I read that the cable should have a 'FDTI' Chip, had two of those , one for the SG220 and the other for the SG300 , neither worked . My gut feeling is the usb adaptation chip is not supported by the latest build of WIndows 10 . Currently interested in getting cable for my SG300 , this would ideally be a 232 to usb cable . However a passive 232 cable with 232 PCI card could also be an option . Can anyone confirm they have something that works with WIN10 1809- 1903 ?
