100GB Mellanox QSFP to 100GB Nexus QSFP

I will have a Mellanox switch with a NVIDIA MMA1L30-CM Optical Transceiver 100GbE QSFP28 LC-LC 1310nm CWDM4 on one end of a 100GB SM fiber link and a Nexus N9K-C9336-C-FX2 with a QSFP-100G-SM-SR on the other end. Can someone tell me if this will work or if there's some best practice config I will require to get this to work. I'm just trying to get this link up and working as quick as possible with what I have. I know the Cisco QSFP's will not work in the Mellanox because I receive an eeprom error on interfaces when the QSFP's are plugged in.

Any insight is appreciated.

Hi,

Both of the optics part numbers for the Cisco and Mellanox switch you posted here are SM, and CWDM compatible. So using a single-mode fiber, the connectivity should work fine.
