I have to reload the Router to factory defaults, but I keep getting this error and cannot do anything.

How do I get in to reload the config file to default?

From these messages I would assume that there is not anything connected to any of the interfaces. Is that correct?

Not having anything connected to any interface should not impact your ability to manage the config file. After the router goes through these messages, if you press the Enter key (perhaps a couple of times) do you get any response from the router?
