I have got a Cisco 1841 and I'd like to know how to format a corrupted flash in rommon mode.
USB port isn't detecting a USB that is formatted to FAT. There is nothing wrong with the USB, because I have tested booting the IOS from the same USB on a 887V which has an integrated flash.
Is there a way I can format the Flash in rommon mode and then TFP the ios to make it work ?

By default, ISR G1's, which the 1841 is part of, does NOT support USB boot in ROMmon.
For an ISR G1 to boot an IOS (from USB) from ROMmon, the bootstrap or ROMmon needs to be upgraded to a minimum of 12.4(13r)T.

1841 ROMmon version 12.4(13r)T5 can be downloaded HERE.
The command to upgrade ROMmon is: upgrade rom-monitor file <ROMmon filename>
