Hi ,
I was having same problem to load the IOS, I think it will be good for you to load ios from xmodem.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/products_tech_note09186a008015bfac.shtml
Step 1: rommon 12 > xmodem -cfs115200 c1900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M4.bin
Step2 :Select Transfer and Send File from the HyperTerminal menu bar. (see the link)
it will take long time
Regards

Afroz,
This is a DUPLICATE thread to this.
As I have pointed this out to you in your other thread, you are trying to load an IOS for a 1700 router into your 1900 router.
And this, I can assure you, will not work.
NOTE: You will be able to copy the file into the 1900 router but that's where it ends.

hi,
i think you should set your DEFAULT_GATEWAY and TFTP_SERVER to be on same IP address with your PC/laptop.
try to make it simple and use 192.168.1.2. using a straight cable should be no problem.

Afroz,
1. Power down the router;
2. Eject the CF;
3. Get a multi-card reader;
4. Use a PC to copy the IOS from your PC to the CF using the multi-card reader;
5. Insert the CF back to the router.
6. Power on the router.

hi Afroz,
i think that you have problem with speed, be sure that the speed of the network card from the laptop or PC is 1 GB, else you must set speed to 100, with command GE_SPEED_MODE:
