2 vlans on 1 access port??

I've never heard of it, or seen it... but it's been asked and so I'm asking you:

Is it possible to have an access port on multiple VLANs?

Hello Al,

for supporting VOIP IP phones you can configure a voice vlan in addition to the data vlan and this is the single special case I know.

int fasx/y

switchport

switchport mode access

switchport access vlan 10

switchport voice vlan 20

this can be done on modern IOS switches.
