Hello all,
Really need some assistance. We have an issue where a staff member who left the company decided to cause mayhem on departure. I won't go into details but suffice it to say I have a major problem with our core 2801 router.
In summary it appears he disabled password recovery, deleted the IOS and rebooted. Net result is no Rommon and no IOS on the flash. I've read that the Conf-Reg will be reset if I remove the NVRAM but I cannot identify it on the board. If I can get to Rommon I can recover. Curenntly I don't have Flash reader to restore to flash.
Can anyone advise on the NVRAM or other options?
Thanks in advance
Dave

For those interested. I got a hold of a SD card reader and file transfered the IOS again onto the card. Put back in the router and up it came.
I have no idea why the TFTP got corrupted in the 1st place.
