Hello,
For my application that requires routing from 1 internal network to another internal network I purchased a 2901 router with K9 firewall license.
But this router only has 2 ports.
I expected to configure 1 port in WAN (upper network) and 1 port in LAN (production network).
But it seems I can only configure the available ports as WAN?
See screenshot.
Is it required to buy extension modules just to be able to have a LAN port?
Thank you.

I am not familiar with the web interface you are using but you can use the ports for anything you like ie. it is up to you.
So you have two gigabit ports and you can use one for LAN and one for WAN, the router doesn't care.
In fact from the screenshot you have posted it's not clear why you think both ports have to be WAN ?

Like I say I haven't used the interface you are using.
I use the CLI and you would simply configure each interface as you want. LAN and WAN are just terms nothing more.
If you can use the CLI then you simply do the following -
router(config)# int gi</x/y>
router(config-if)#ip address x.x.x.x <subnet mask>
router(config-if)#no shut
sorry I can't be more help but I just wanted to assure you that you don't need any additional hardware ie. you can do what you want with what you have.
