Hi All,
We got some 2960 switches for the first time - previously we've gotten 3500s and 3700s, but since the intended use was only for switching, this time we went with the 2960.
I just tried to see a mac address on one of the new 2960s, and found that the command I'm familiar with, sh mac-address, is not available.
So far haven't succeeded in discovering what other command is available in this IOS that does what sh mac-address does -
There's a sh platform mac-address, but none of the options for that command do what I'm looking for.
Just to be clear, what I want to see is this:
Mac Address Table
-------------------------------------------
Vlan Mac Address Type Ports
---- ----------- -------- -----
5 0001.e643.91a9 DYNAMIC Gi1/0/30
5 000a.b837.b5dd DYNAMIC Gi1/0/21
5 000f.206f.dc5d DYNAMIC Gi2/0/25
5 000f.fe84.bb73 DYNAMIC Gi2/0/23
I need to be able to see what mac addresses are there, as opposed to looking for the location of a known mac address...
Model: WS-C2960S-48FPD-L
SW Version: 12.2(55)SE2
SW Image: C2960S-UNIVERSALK9-M
Can anyone enlighten me?
Thx...

How about "show mac address-table"?

Good Grief!
You'd have thought I would have stood some chance of actually seeing that command when I looked at "sh ?"...
Anyway, thanks - That's definitely it...
