Trying to configure a 2960s stack. I stacked the switches and everything looks fine when I look at it via console connection. I have the VLAN 1 IP address configured for the stack. I put an address on the laptop in the same subnet. I cannot connect via the IP address assigned to VLAN 1. Did I miss something?

Hi,
I guess the port on the switch connectingn to the PC has been configured as trunk port.
Can you pls configured it as access port? It should ping then
Make sure you have not configured the port to different access vlan by mistake
If this still doesnt ping, pls post us your configuration and interface status.
