2960S platform assert failure message. IOS version

Hopefully someone can help me or advise. I presently have 2960S switches running in a mixture of edge switches generally running c2960s-universalk9-mz.150-2.SE4-6.bin and mixed 2960S/2960-X stacks running c2960s-universalk9-mz.152-2.E5.bin/c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-2.E5.bin.

The customer has requested that we address security vulnerabilities. Identified c2960s-universalk9-mz.152-2.E9.bin for the 2960S edge switches and c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-4.E7.bin for the 2960X switches.

When upgrading a test 2960S switch to 152-2.E9 I get the following entry in logs at boot up. I don't know if this is a cosmetic issue or hides an underlying issue.

Jan 2 00:00:23.975: *platform assert failure: hwidb->snmp_if_index == ifIndex: ../src-hulc/src-common/hpm_idbman.c: 1964: hpm_register_idb_with_snmp

Jan 2 00:00:24.033: *platform assert failure: hwidb->snmp_if_index == ifIndex: ../src-hulc/src-common/hpm_idbman.c: 8461: hpm_register_ethernet_management_port
*Jan 2 00:00:24.033: -Traceback= 487224z 1D8D254z 1CEB6A8z 1D35E70z 1D3D648z 1D8F614z 179B548z 179B714z 179B864z 495B14z 495D4Cz 214B2CCz 214764Cz

I am probably asking for utopia here but ideally I need to identify a stable IOS that will pass Nessus scans and I can confidently deploy on 2960S/2960X edge and mixed stack deployments.

Thanks in advance

 - Usually if the switch remains functional it can be considered as a cosmetic bug.
