2960X and QOS verification: not possible

gnijs

How on earth is it possible that on a 2960X the command "show policy-map interface" isn't working ?? The counters on the policy-map are not working. This seems to be by design, but is hidden somewhere deep in the documentation. You are all warned !

If i deploy a QOS policy with inbound service policy, how can i ever verify or troubleshoot my configuration and see if all my policy-map classes have correct matchings ?

Hi,

From the config guides you will see

show policy-map [ policy-map-name [ class class-map-name]]

Displays QoS policy maps, which define classification criteria for incoming traffic.

Do not use the show policy-map interface privileged EXEC command to display classification information for incoming traffic. The control-plane and interface keywords are not supported, and the statistics shown in the display should be ignored.

You cannot use the command with interfaces to see stats

This has been the case for years on L2 switches.
