Hi Experts,
Is WS-C2960X-24TS-LL with c2960x-universalk9-mz.150-2.EX5 supported RSPAN? I have tried it out Today but unfortunately the command isn't accepted.
I have checked the release note it actually showing RSPAN are supported.
My next action plan will be upgrade the IOS version to the latest firmware and try. It is good if anyone can share out his/her thoughts.
My scenario would be like below :
6509 (Source) > 2960X > 3850X (Destination)

Hi,
It appears to be supported in 15.0(2) and later versions.
Have a look at this link for config examples:

Hi kelvin,

Have you defined a rspan vlan? Please share the error you are getting? And also share the confguraiton you are applying?
Thanks,
Madhu.

I am trying to apply the RSPAN vlan, it doesn't allow me to enter the command. It's showing invalid command

Hello kelvinffhan,
try remote-span
instead of C2960X-SW02(config-vlan)#remote-vlan
Hope this helps...

Is this a hidden command? it doesn't showing in the configuration command.

Has it worked when you applied. ?
It shouldn't be a hidden command.

This is a new switch. While I tried to configure it prompted me this error.

Does it mean you can't configure remote-span also?
Earlier you were trying remote-vlan which is incorrect
Thanks,
Madhu

Yes, both remote-vlan and remote-span are invalid. I am trying to hard code even it is not showing in the command configuration while I press "?".
