We have several stacks of 2960x switches. On one of them, the second switch seems to dissapear.
Switch/Stack Mac Address : 204c.9ef7.0f80
H/W Current

But when we plug things into the 2nd switch, the user is fine. If we reboot the stack, it comes back. I've redone the flexstack cables in the back and rebooted. It was fine for a day or more, but when I checked again this morning it was gone again. Any ideas?
Here is what the neighbor cabling looks like when it is good.
sh switch neighbors
Switch # Port 1 Port 2
-------- ------ ------
1 3 2
2 1 3
3 2 1
And after when it drops:
sh switch nei
Switch # Port 1 Port 2
-------- ------ ------
1 3 None
3 2 1

Hi danielglenn,
Try to replace the stacking cable and observe. If this is not feasible, you can reseat the stacking cables and observe. You may also try swapping the cable with other working cables and observe.
On cases like this, physical stacking cable is more often the issue based on my experiences.
