I have three 3750X switches needed to stacked with full bandwidth and redundancy. I am new in stacking switches. Do anyone can give me suggestion how the stackwise and stackpower cable connection ?

Is it practical on below connection for full bandswitch and redundancy ?

Stackwise

Switch 1 Stack 2 -- Switch 2 Stack 1

Switch 2 Stack 2 -- Switch 3 Stack 1

Switch 3 Stack 2 -- Switch 1 Stack 1

Stackpower

Switch 1 Bottom -- Switch 2 Upper

Switch 2 Bottom -- Switch 3 Upper

Switch 3 Bottom -- Switch 1 Upper.

Hi,

This looks good, the connections will have redundancy the way the you plan to do it. Below is a link that covers stack creation and questions:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-3750-series-switches/71925-cat3750-create-switch-stks.html

Hope this helps, and remeber to rate any useful posts.

Actually cabling doesn't really matter, per se, although StackPower has an amperage limitation between stack members,  So power supplies should be placed to try to minimize Stack power draw, including when a power supply fails.
