I ordered a L3 Catalyst 3550 switch from ebay, plugged it in and was greated with these errors
IOS Version 12.1(14)EA1A
00:32:48: %ILPOWER-3-CONTROLLER_ERR: Controller error, Controller number 5: accessing failed
00:32:51: ***Err: I2C_do_transaction failed i2cRead: slave addr 0x20, addr 0x1 (ret 0x3007).
00:32:51: %ILPOWER-3-CONTROLLER_ERR: Controller error, Controller number 0: accessing failed
00:32:51: ***Err: I2C_do_transaction failed i2cRead: slave addr 0x25, addr 0x1 (ret 0x3006).
Does anyone know a solution to this?

Both of the message posted are about power failures to 2 controllers on the switch. This suggests that there is some issue with the power supply on the switch. I don't know what it would take to repair this. Can you go back to whomever sold you the switch and complain?
