Hi,
Uploaded the 3560 with new IOS leaving the existing intact. Issued the boot command..
boot system flash:c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-53.SE.bin;flash:c3560-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEE2/c3560-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin
Show boot:
BOOT path-list : flash:c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-53.SE.bin;flash:c3560-ipbase-m
z.122-25.SEE2/c3560-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin
Config file : flash:/config.text
Private Config file : flash:/private-config.text
Enable Break : no
Manual Boot : no
HELPER path-list :
Auto upgrade : yes
Question is the boot path is fine to reboot the switch or need to be changed (no need of 'flash:' in boot system command..?)
TIA
MS

The boot system command needs to know which filesystem the IO is on so you do need the "flash" part in the boot string.

Thanks Jon. So the switch will use 'c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-53.SE.bin' during reboot...
Thanks

Yes, as long as that image is located in flash it will use it.
