3560x-48p-s replace with C9300L-48P-4X-E

Hi Team,

Please confirm can i replace 3560x-48p-s access switch with new one  C9300L-48P-4X-E  even core switch WS-C3850-24T-S

you can. but make sure your matching the throughput levels. because 9300L series have beginning throughput levels. you may need to consider 9300 switches (without L)

Hi Kasun,

Thank you for your confirmation, we have star topology means core switch  WS-C3850-24T-S directly connected with access switch 3560x-48p-s with 10 G throughput now we want to replace  access switch 3560x-48p-s with new one C9300L-48P-4X-E with 10 g throughput so here is no issue

For access switch that is OK. for Core SW, better go to 9300 switches (again depends on size there are lot of other models with higher throughputs if needed)
