We recently purchased a WS-C3650-24PDM as our first 3650-Mini, and the fans seem to be excessively loud compared to previous full sized 3650's I've installed. I would think that this is just because of the more compact switch, except that I can hear the fans ramp down at one point during their boot to a "normal" volume level, then the fans ramp back up to full speed once the boot is complete and stay there. Is it normal for a 3650-Mini to always run its fans at full speed? I know this platform runs Denali - Is there a new command that needs to be issued to enable variable fan speed?
