3750 add/remove StackMember without Power off

hi,

can i add or remove single stackmembers without switching off the whole stack, powering off?

i.e.

if in a working system one of 5-Stackmembers is defect i.e nr3. can i replace that without disturbing the whole stack? or i have to shutdown and disconnect it from the powersource.
