3750 and WCCP

We have a three 3750 stack, the 1st two switches (one of them is the master) are running IP services IOS, the third is running IP base only.

We configured WCCP on the stack and it works fine on one VLAN, but there's no redirection on the 2nd VLAN, the Second VLAN is defined on a port channel and the two physical interfaces in this port channel are on switch 3 (which runs IP base).

I know we need IP services to run WCCP, giving that S3 runs IP base only, could that be the no redirection problem (even though the master is running IP services)?

XXXXXXX#sh ip wccp

Hi Ahmed,

We can try perform the below and share the output.

+ Move the links out of port channel bundle and configure it for affected vlan. Verify the status.

+ If the above step fails, move the link to different port in member switch of the stack with ip service running and verify the status.

The above steps will clarify whether the issue is specific to port channel or related to ip service.
