3750-E and stackwiseplus

Hi,

Show command output 32GB on stackwiseplus. Shouldn't be 64GB ? Show command bug ? Did I need to enable stuff to get 64GB ?

I have stack of five 3750E switches members.

sh switch stack-ring speed

Stack Ring Speed : 32G

Stack Ring Configuration: Full

Stack Ring Protocol : StackWisePlus

Francois,

Are you using the all of the stackwise ports for complete redundancy within the stack? Please see figure 3 in the white paper.

Not certain, but perhaps you are already getting full speed. You might be bumping into a technical stat that doesn't correspond with marketing hype.

64 GB on StackWisePlus, means what, exactly? What StackWisePlus provides is two 16 Gbps, full duplex stack ports.

Not intended as a negative, if you work for Cisco(?), I'm surprised you need to post to the public support forums to answer a question on a Cisco product.
