i've tried 2 power supplies and reload the switch. One of the power supplies is brand new out of the box. The power supplies work fine in another switch. All fans are spinning. All POST tests passed. For some reason the switch is still reporting Failure-Fan. Maybe a software bug? IOS image is c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-50.SE.bin. Switch seems to be operating as normal. Temperature Value: 31 Degree Celsius. i'm not able to clear this failure-fan which generates snmp alerts. any ideas?

Yes, looks like we are seeing CSCsy9272
Symptom:< PS displays Failure-Fan status only with switches require a PoE. Conditions: The "show env all" displays "Failure-Fan" in Status after upgrading an IOS version to 12.2(50)SE on WS-C3560E-48PD and WS-C3750E-48PD. However there is no problem with 12.2(46)SE. Workaround: No workaround exists.
