3750 stack member monitoring

vol
Level 1
Level 1

Here is a problem with monitoring members in cisco 3750 stack.

Some info:
- Cisco Catalyst 3750-E
- 3 members in stack (1 24-port switch and 2 48-port switch)
- management ip address assigned to int vlan 1
-snmp service configured

Our task is monitoring the current state of stack members by snmp and
obtain temperature sensor information, fan status and power supply status.
With additional MIBs taken from cisco.com site we could obtain only
information from temperature sensors.
But fan status and power supply status of each member we can not
obtain. SNMP give such info only about stack master and no about other
members.

Can anybody suggest some way to solve this problem?

Thanks, but

A switch cluster is different from a switch stack.

We have switch stack.

Hi,

The best way to go about this is by use of the CiscoStackWiseMIB using snmp.Check out the below links for examples

http://jaguar.ir.miami.edu/cgi-bin/snmptransc.cgi

and in the "Object Identifier or Object Name" box, put .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.500

Select "tree translation" and you'll see all of the MIB objects this MIB supports.
