3750 Stacking

Hi guys, just a quick question I haven't been able to find the answer for.

When stacking 3750s, the IOS image should be identical.  But do the switch model numbers need to be?  Ie., could I stack a 48 port 3750G with a 24 Port model if their IOS images were the same?

IOS and Feature Set has to be the same.  Model numbers are not important.
