3750G-24S. Issue with access to MyCloud UI

Hi All,
I'm using a 3750G in my security system setup which has been working fine for my purposes. I decided to add a MyCloud into the system for backup purposes but it is not working as I would like. I have attached an image showing the general layout of the system below. I have also just added the VLAN's to the setup as well, which I'm not sure if I've done correctly. With the MyCloud I can see it in the file explorer on the PC but only if I "Map Network Drive" or "Add a Network Location". Both of these don't show up under the "Network" area but under the "This PC" section. I'm also unable to connect to the MyCloud in any way from the laptop. It did show up briefly on the Laptop in file explorer under the "Network" area but when I tried to open it the MyCloud could not be located. The other problem I'm have is that I cannot connect to the MyCloud UI via a Web brouser. When I try to connect using 192.168.6.2    I receive the following message "Forbidden  You don't have permission to access /UI/ on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to us an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Any help or advise on correcting this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

Does the server is on network 192.168.6.x and you PC is 10.x.x.x?

Who is routing between those network?

I don't have a server as such. The MyCloud is on 192.168.6.x as well as one of the NIC's on the add in card in the PC. The NIC on the PC motherboard is on 192.168.8.X and 10.0.0.X is on another NIC on the add in card.  This is all new to me and I may have misunderstood some of the information I have been reading. I thought Trunking between the VLAN's would take care of this.

Sorry I meant MyCloud. If MyCloud is on the network 192.168.6.x and you PC on the network 192.168.8.x you need something to route between those 2 network.

If your switch have layer3 capability it can do it. You just need the commamd "ip routing"

But if not, you need a router.

Trunk is not enouth. And the  MyCloud must have a gateway configured , of course.
