Hey all,
Forgive me if this answer is already somewhere. I have searched, but have not found it.
I have several switches (3750G - not stacked) that when they are first booted come up as switch 3. All the interfaces come up as 'interface GigabitEthernet 3/0/1' to 'interface GigabitEthernet 3/0/28'.
I issue the command to renumber the switch to 1, and reload the switch. Now I have 'interface GigabitEthernet 1/0/1-28' and 'interface GigabitEthernet 3/0/1-28' showing in the config. I can configure the 1/0/1-28 ports as normal.
How do I get rid of the 'interface GigabitEthernet 3/0/1-28' ports still showing in the config?
