Hello Juan,
It is as easy as plugging in the cables if you have as minimum ipbase license on the new 3750X.
It won’t work if you have 3750x-24 running with LAN BASE and a 3750x-24 running IPBASE.
I would like to mention that a mixed feature Switch stack is not supported. A Switch Running a LAN Base license can only be stacked with another Switch running LAN Base license only.
Solution:
Purchase an IPBASE license for the 3750x-24 switch.
Workaround: Activate the temporal ipbase license and you will have 8.5 weeks to purchase a permanent.
Following is a link for reference:
Note: We may need to perform an IOS upgrade to the current stack because 12.2(35)SE5 is no longer available in our website.
Thanks,
Haihua

i can then insert the switch into a stack of 3750E 3750E switch, but must have the same version of IOS?
Now these are different machines
3750X is not the same as 3750E

Hello Juan,
Correct the IOS needs to match to avoid version mismatch. We need to upgrade the currect stack to 12.2(55)SE5 because 12.2(35)SE5 is no longer available for the 3750X switches.
Look for the 3750E products.

i this case, can i attach the 3750X in 3750E Stack?

Hello Juan,
It works. Just take in consideration the next:
The master needs to run the IP services feature set, the master and backup master must be manually configured so that the switches running IP Services feature set have the highest priority to become the stack master and backup master. With this setup, if the master dies, the backup master that takes the master role is also running IP services.

so that can i mixed hardware stack for this case?
3750E (Master) IPservice License 12.2(55)SE5
3750E (Member Backup) IPService License 12.2(55)SE5
3750X (Member) IPBase License 12.2(55)SE5
the tree switches have the same ios version but de 3750X have a IPBase License
