3850-24xs Copper GLT-T compatibility

Hi! I have a Cisco 3850-24XS (all 10g ports) but I need a couple copper ports at 1g speed. I plugged in a GLC-T (Flexoptix) and it put the port into error-disable. I used the command "service unsupported-transceiver". The port now looks good, and I have it plugged into a 3560X. Both ports are trunk ports, and they're getting a link but not passing any data. The show interface command on both switches shows there are packets output but 0 packets input.

Any suggestions? https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/?si=ws-c3850-24xs says that the GLC-T is compatible (if I'm reading the table right).

Thanks!

Hi,

Is that GLC-T or GLC-TE?

Also, are you using cat5e or 6A and running IOS -XE 3.7.1 or later?

HTH

The old GLC-T. It's cat5 and the switch is running 16.9.2 on the 3850-24xs.
