3850 No Vlan Information

I have 3850 stack switches with firmware 15.2

In running config, I do not see any vlan information and their names but show vlan shows all the vlans and the associated interfaces. Please advise.

What is the vtp mode? try "show vtp status" and post it here.

Also, post "sh run"

I have the running config and vtp is not defined anywhere. The switch is at remote office I cannot get all the details.

It shows only one vlan under running config but interfaces are assigned to several vlans and works fine.

Please advise.

if its not defined anywhere your using default out of the box mode

create a dummy vlan on the stack see if it appears on the run config ?

vlans should be appearing like below , what the full image name

vlan 32
name

vlan 33

vlan 34

vlan 38

if you don't see 'vtp mode transparent' in your running configuration, your switch is either in client or in server mode. The Vlans only show up in the running config when the switch is in transparent mode:

vtp mode transparent
!
vlan 10
name VLAN10
!
vlan 20

Your switch is a VTP server which means it does not store the vlan information in the running configuration so you won't see it when you issue a "sh run". 

If the VTP mode was transparent then you would see the vlans in the running configuration.
