3850 switch standby stack member image verification message

hi,

 

what is the meaning of this message I got during image verification on stack standby member?

UFS device flash-2Resolve UFS file from flash-2:cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.05b.SPA.bin to /tmp/ufs/flash/10.130.1.0/cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.05b.SPA.bin

You need to post complete upgrade log to understand : also give us information, what version you have currently .

 

have you manually copied the image to all stack members or what upgrade process you following :

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

there is no upgrade log. I copied using tftp to flash and then copied bin file from flash-1 to flash-2. I made verification using verify command. Flash 1 is ok, flash is ok but with this msg

running ver is 16.9.4

I do not see any issue, as @Leo Laohoo  has good upgrade guide.

Hello,

 

I think the message tells you that after the stack standby member has received the .bin file, it is expanded from Universal Flash Storage (UFS) to a temporary file. It is difficult to find exact information on how the images are installed internally, the best I could find was the document linked below:
