3850 virtual-service install command openflow

The "virtual-service" command is not there in my 3850. We have ipservices image. What is the trick to be allowed to type the command so we can add the openflow ova module?

make sure you have IOS XE 3.7.3E running on your 3850. Check the link below for version support:

I'm running version 16 cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.09.01.SPA.bin and have plugin version ofa-2.0.7-r3-cat3000-SPA-k9.ova. I guess maybe they removed this functionality from the newer OS.

Yup: Cisco Plug-In for OpenFlow (OpenFlow 1.0 and 1.3) is available in Cisco IOS XE Release 3.7.3E, but is not supported in Cisco IOS XE Fuji 16.8.x.
