3kW DC Power Supply in 5508

Is it possible or are there any issues with connect an a feed and a b feed to the 3kw dc power supply. In the documentation it recommends powering the first 4 from a and the last 4 from b. I also saw that in the 4k power supply it uses and a and a b feed on the same supply. I guess my question is can you use an a feed and b feed on the same 3kw supply ?

From the Installation Guide (Table 7):

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/iosxr/ncs5500/hardware-install/b-ncs5500-hardware-installation-guide/b-ncs5500-hardware-install-guide_chapter_01.html#reference_F0FD16C2711849F19D6696A88149312E

"With the new 4.4 KW DC power supply (NC55-PWR-4.4KW-DC), feed redundancy is supported on the Cisco NCS 5504, Cisco NCS 5508, and Cisco NCS 5516 routers."

I interpret this to mean that feed redundancy is not supported with the 3KW DC PSU and that the 3KW PSU does not function properly if you lost either A or B feeds when both are connected to the same PSU. This interpretation seems consistent with the recommendation of n+n power redundancy by feeding PSU slots 1-4 with A and slots 5-8 with B. If either feed is lost, there is still the required power available from n PSUs fed from the alternate source.
