4500X Fast Hello configuration

I'll be configuring vsl link between two 4500 X switch, the distance between the two of them is around 350 meters, so, can i use the SFP-10G-SR to configure the fast hello

Hi,

if you plan to use SFP-10G-SR module with low attenuation OM4 multi modal fibers you can technically cover distances up to 400mt. You should check if your cabled network support it.

However if it`s only for a pair of GBIC modules to be purchased, i suggest SFP-10G-LR SM that covers much more distance.
