hi,
i have 4506-e with sup8 running in vss mode and i needed to make sure voip traffic is preserved and prioritize.
network set-up:
cisco phone---->2960-x----->etherchannel-->>4506-e
auto qos is already configured in 2960 switches and as what i understand so far, qos is already enabled on 4506 by default and its ports are already trusted but not sure whether additional config is needed for 4506 in the above set-up?

but under configuring vss auto-qos, its not clear to me whether those configuration lines mentioned should be manually configured or there is a command that can trigger them to be populated on the switch?
globally, i can see qos srnd command, but after i executed nothing happens.
under interface configuration, below are the commands i can see available for qos:
VSS(config-if)#qos trust device ?
cisco-phone Cisco IP Phone
cts Cisco-telepresence
ip-camera Cisco video surveillance camera
media-player Cisco Digital Media Player
