4507 Switch - Inactive Interfaces

I have a 4507 switch with the following:

IOS ver cat4500-entservicesk9-mz.122-52.SG

Sup- WS-X4516-10GE

There are interfaces on the sup card that have a status of "inactive". How can I activate these interfaces? The #hw-module uplink select all command is not there!

Hi.

Either the VLAN assigned to these interfaces are not created in the VLAN database. Or there might be something with the number of ports supported - could you post a show module and show interface status?

HTH, Ingolf

Below are the requested outputs. Thanks for the help!

Put gbics in the ports..

Thanks for the suggestion, I had tried that already. Unfortunately it did not resolve the problem.

Hello, due to the fact you are using a redundant supervisor, some interfaces are disabled

. This is a normal behavior.

You can find on datasheet which combinations are possible
