6509-E stuck on route processor

I have 6509-E currently running s72033-adventerprisek9-mz.151-2.SY2.

I tried to upgrade it to s72033-adventerprisek9-mz.151-2.SY4a, it gets stuck at route processor. I tried to revert back to current version and it boots up well.

Please check the console messages while upgrade.

Ihave 512MB DRAM as well as 512MB FLASH as required for IOS.

Possible corrupt ios.

Did you do a md5 checksum on the ios?

Dear All,
After going through the cisco documentation, I found that this is an expected behavior.
The RPR redundancy state (standby sup in STANDBY COLD state) it’s absolutely expected to see standby booting only to to some point.
It passes the console owership to RP and hungs.
The bootup process continues when the switchover happens.
