6509-E switch with 720 SUP image upgrade from 12.x to 15.x

Can anyone help me with document to upgrade the image 12.x to 15.x as below

s72033-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-33.SXJ8.bin to be upgraded to s72033-adventerprisek9-mz.151-2.SY9.bin

Customer wants Cisco approval for the image of 15.x we have chosen.

Hi,

Here is a link on how to upgrade the 6500 image.  Cisco TAC usually does not approve or disapprove an image, as they don't want to be responsible if something happens to your device after the upgrade.  They can however guide you in selection an image and can be on call during the upgrade, if you have support contract on the device.
