6513 management card

Hi,

We recently had a management card failure on a 6513 chasis...the backup card did not kick in, we had to reseat the primary card.

However,we did a controlled test where we removed the primary card, the secondary kicked in fine.Logs show nothing...any thoughts?.

I was just going to ask something about this as I am doing some testing with failover on the 6513 and had the same issue. Your posting has helped. The second module was missing the file it need to boot.
